What is Fiction Flock?
A cozy reading community where you discover your next favorite book, read along with monthly adventures, and find your flock.
What are feathers?
Feathers are your giveaway entries. You earn them by joining in — taking quizzes, swiping through blurbs, recommending books, and completing quests. The more you collect, the more entries you have in our giveaways.
Do my feathers carry over month to month?
No — feathers reset at the end of each month, so everyone starts each new adventure on equal footing. Use them while you've got them!
What's an "adventure"?
Each month we set off on a themed reading adventure with a handful of quests to play through — a quiz, a blurb swipe, a mood board, a scavenger hunt, and community recommendations. Complete them to earn feathers and badges.
What are badges?
Badges are keepsakes you earn for completing quests and finishing adventures. Unlike feathers, badges are yours to keep.
What's my TBR?
Your TBR ("to be read") is your personal shelf of books you want to read. Add to it from anywhere on the site and revisit it any time on your profile.
How do the book links work?
When you buy through our Amazon or Bookshop.org links, Fiction Flock may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you — it helps keep the flock flying. (Adjust this to match your affiliate disclosure wording.)
