Most of us see this time of year as the perfect excuse to bake a whole bunch of goodies, or at the very least, indulge in a whole bunch of goodies. This book took me back to my childhood, with memories of baking cookies with my grandma, and watching my mom bake cakes for birthdays and special celebrations.
And, though I am often hard-pressed to admit it, I’m a sucker for a lost-and-found-again romance. Especially when both characters are so perfect for each other, but the world around them is doing everything it can to keep them apart.
This book made me laugh and gave me all the warm and fuzzy feel-good feelings I’d expect in a book that puts baking desserts and going home part of the plot.

The Book
